Danny's blog

Danny made a blog entry a while back that I've been meaning to say something about. His blog is like a train wreck in slow motion. I think in some ways he's a sad person, in other ways he's very entertaining.

why some conservatives seem to think that playing poker is somehow an evil act despite no mention of it in the Bible. I won’t go into detail about what is written on the subject, but let me just say that I’d challenge anybody to show me a verse in scripture that deems poker playing to be a sin.

So Danny believes in the literal truth of the Bible and wants to argue with someone else who believes in it's literal truth about who's literal interpretation is the correct interpretation inspired by God.

The poor boy.

I'm back

As some of y'all know I've had a lifelong problem with depression. For the most part it's been somewhat undercontrol the last couple of years. I've been seeing a psychiatrist and have been on a mood stabilizer which has seemed to suffice.

This year I started having some problems with high blood pressure. Recently it got worse and it seems one of the side effects of the new blood pressure medication I got put on is depression.

The last 3 weeks or so I've been pretty much depressed, I had one 4 day period where I was severely depressed. I've been on an anti-depressant in addition to the mood stabilizer for about a week, and today I switched my blood pressure medication.

I'm feeling much better.

That's why I've been pretty much ignoring my blogs. I expect to be much more active in my blogging.

Micheal Craig's Blog

I thought I'd put together a series of posts reviewing and commenting on various poker blogs. For no good reason other than it's the first one in my bloglines list, I'm starting with Micheal Craig's Blog.

Micheal Craig is the author of the book on the series of games between Andy Beal and the "corporation", The Professor, the Banker, and the Suicide King

Like many good blogs, his blog is about him more than anything else. It's a poker blog becuase poker is a lot of what he does these days. Or at least writing about poker is a lot of what he does.

Right now, since his primary activity is finishing up a ghosting job for a Full Tilt book on poker stratagy, he's putting in a lot of words pimping the Full Tilt poker site, but Craig is a professional writer, so reading his words are enjoyable.

I like his blog and read most of his blog posts. I recommend it.
