Getting the Best of It is David's personal favorites among his work. It's a very basic book, covering some poker, some general gambling, some biographical stuff about David. It's his attempt to convey the idea of how to get an edge in a gamble. He does a pretty good job of it. A really good book selection for beginning gamblers. I have a signed edition, it was a gift from David. |

Hey Gary,
Quick question... I have been studying your 2001 Hold'em Poker book that I picked up fairly recently and I was wonder what kind of adjustments if any you would make to the Carson Hand Groups for No-Limit Hold'em as this seems to be for Limit primarily. Thanks. Andy
That's a good question and I'll try to respond in more detail later. For know I doubt I'd change them much at all, I just change the response and revise the idea of odds from number of players to relative stack sizes.
